Brazil Banco Pine and Mitre Detail July 7 Dividend Payouts

Banco Pine and Mitre announced new payments to shareholders on July 7. Banco Pine (PINE4) will distribute R$ 69 million in interest on equity. The payment is based on the company’s financial results from the first half of 2026. Shareholders registered on the company’s books on a date to be confirmed will be eligible to receive the funds. The exact per-share value will be disclosed after the record date is set.

Mitre (MTRE3) also declared a distribution of earnings. The company did not specify the total amount or the per-share value in the initial announcement. Mitre stated that the payment schedule and the exact calculation per share will be released in a subsequent notice. Both payments follow standard corporate practices for distributing profits to investors.

Banco Pine is a Brazilian bank that focuses on corporate lending and wealth management. The bank has a history of regular dividend and interest on equity payments. Mitre is a real estate development company operating primarily in the state of São Paulo. The company has been active in the residential and commercial property sectors.

Interest on equity is a common form of shareholder compensation in Brazil. It differs from dividends in that companies can deduct these payments from their taxable income, which can provide a tax advantage. Both Banco Pine and Mitre regularly use this method to return capital to their shareholders.
