Brazil Copasa net profit falls 14.1% to $368M in Q1 2026

Copasa (CSMG3) reported a net profit of R$ 368.1 million for the first quarter of 2026 (1Q26), a decline of 14.1% compared to the same period in 2025 (1Q25). The company made the announcement on Friday, the 8th.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (Ebitda) totaled R$ 787.4 million, a drop of 3.2% from the year-ago quarter.

Net revenue reached R$ 1.91 billion, a slight increase of 2.5% compared to 1Q25.

The company operates in the sanitation sector, providing water and sewage services. The results reflect the company’s performance in the first three months of its fiscal year 2026.
