Brazil’s Moura Dubeux, Pague Menos announce stock buybacks
The B3 stock exchange released its operating data for May 2026 on Tuesday evening. In the variable income segment, the average daily financial volume traded in stocks was 31.6 billion reais in May, an increase of 16.8% compared to the same month last year. The spot market moved 30.38 billion reais per day, a rise of 16.3%.
According to B3 data, the average daily total volume in the derivatives segment fell 13.6% compared to May 2025, to 10.33 million contracts. The number of individual investors with holdings on the stock exchange reached 5.66 million, growth of 6.1% compared to May last year.
Alupar Dividend Payment
Alupar Investimento announced on Tuesday that it will pay dividends approved at a board meeting on May 7, 2026, on July 6. The total amount is 69,221,642.07 reais, equivalent to 0.07 reais per common share, 0.07 reais per preferred share, and 0.21 reais per unit. Shareholders registered in the company’s records at the end of May 14, 2026, are entitled to receive these dividends. Since May 15, 2026, the shares have been traded ex-dividends.
Moura Dubeux Share Buyback
The board of directors of Moura Dubeux approved a share buyback program on Tuesday. The company may acquire up to 1,361,252 common shares, representing up to 2% of the total outstanding common shares. The program ends on December 16, 2027.
Pague Menos Buyback Program
The board of directors of Pague Menos approved a new share buyback program, announced Tuesday. The maximum number of shares to be acquired will be up to 7 million, representing up to 2.31% of the 302,544,848 shares outstanding on this date. The program ends on December 16, 2026.
Prio Wahoo Field Update
Prio reported after market close on Tuesday that it opened the fourth production well at the Wahoo Field, stabilizing production at 10,000 barrels of oil per day. The oil company has now completed the opening of all production wells planned for the Wahoo development project and, as previously disclosed, will limit total field production to 40,000 barrels of oil per day.
In a report, XP analysts highlighted that the announcement is marginally positive. According to the firm, it helps mitigate concerns about further delays, as the start of production from the fourth well was originally expected at the end of April but was postponed several times.
WEG Interest on Equity
WEG approved on Tuesday the distribution of interest on equity totaling 438,146,335.04 reais, corresponding to 0.104424242 reais per share. The information was released after market close. From June 22, 2026, onward, the shares will be traded ex-interest on equity. Payment is scheduled for March 10, 2027, and will be made at the net amount of 0.086150000 reais per share, after deducting 17.5% withholding income tax.
