A new business jet from Embraer, the Praetor 600E, has received certification from aviation authorities in Brazil, the United States and Europe. The triple approval came from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Embraer first showed the aircraft in February this year, together with the Praetor 500E. The move marked the first update to the Praetor family, which Embraer says leads its segment.

Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Aviation, said the triple certification is an important milestone for the Praetor 600E. He noted that since the plane was announced in February, sales to new customers and market feedback have been very positive. He added that the certification validates Embraer’s engineering and speeds up the jet’s entry into service for customers around the world.

The Praetor 600E can fly four passengers with NBAA IFR reserves. It has an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles, or 7,441 kilometers. The jet can fly nonstop from London to New York or from São Paulo to Miami. Embraer says the new plane also has a completely redesigned cabin, with new seats, an upgraded Cabin Management System (CMS) and advanced technologies for comfort, productivity and connectivity.

The Praetor 600E includes a feature new to the industry called Smart Window. It is an optional 42-inch OLED 4K touchscreen that allows videoconferencing, high-resolution video streaming and real-time exterior views from three external cameras. With the option to place a divan in front of the Smart Window, the cabin can become a space for meetings, movie sessions or other entertainment.

Embraer expects the Praetor 500E to receive triple certification by the end of 2026. Deliveries for new orders of both jets are scheduled to begin in 2029.
